May!

A few exciting things have happened this month...I turned 15!! I was on the radio and I spoke at Rotary!

I am so excited to be 15 and can now start Driver's Ed, which means my license in ONE year!
Cupcakes for Ballet class
Birthday Cake!
I was on the local radio the other morning with Butch Bare and was able to talk about the upcoming Miss WA Outstanding Teen event that is coming up on Memorial Day weekend and also my platform, which is Community Awareness of ALS. It was exciting because I didn't know what to expect! I sat in a small room with the radio announcer and three other people that were there to talk about things that are going on in Moses Lake over the weekend for Springfest, it was a little crowded but fun. They let me go first and then I was able to get back to school, which is a good thing since I gave a "shout out" to my class that I was missing at that moment!
The next day I was given the opportunity to speak at Rotary. I talked about how happy and honored I am to be Miss Moses Lake's Outstanding Teen and able to be a representative for the community. I also talked about why my platform is so important to me and close to my heart and asked that anyone who would like to support me or join me in the ALS walk in honor of my Aunt Betty this coming September to let me know! I was very nervous to do this and I did talk too fast, but I know it is very good practice and I am glad they were such a nice crowd and didn't ask scary questions! Also, I am very glad that my best friend is the School Superintendent's son, because his mom was there and she didn't mind me missing some school for this...I hope!
